1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an
Emergency Department position requiring a ME or Compact RN license
and a minimum of 1 year of ER experience. Details - Work setting is
a hospital Emergency Department - Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM –
6:30 AM - 36 hours per week - 13-week contract Requirements -
Active ME or Compact RN license required - Minimum 1 year of ER/ED
nursing experience required - BLS certification required (copy
required for consideration) - Full SSN required for consideration -
Valid Driver's License required for consideration - 2 professional
references from within the past year required, with at least one
from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable;
peer references not accepted) - Flu vaccination required for
clearance to start Additional Information - Manager interviews are
required - Candidates must have a permanent address located 100
miles South or Southwest of the facility (Bangor, ME area) to be
considered - Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern
Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible -
All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of
consideration - Medical exemptions only are accepted for flu
vaccination; a minimum of 2 weeks must be allowed for review by the

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week
(subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be
