Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute and rehabilitation
care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing
Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will
be instrumental in providing high-quality daily care and support to
our patients. Your main duties will include assisting with daily
living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients,
as well as providing support with basic healthcare needs. You will
work closely with a team of nurses and other healthcare
professionals to ensure that all care provided meets the high
standards of Genesis HealthCare and positively impacts the lives of
our patients. Provide basic patient care under the direction of
nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing,
grooming, or moving patients. Record vital signs, such as
temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as
directed. Document and communicate actions to maintain continuity
among the nursing team. Assist in the transport of patients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Support the
emotional and physical comfort of patients. Excellent interpersonal
skills. Strong observational skills. Ability to follow detailed
instructions. Physical capability to perform job responsibilities,
including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Understanding of
hygiene and sanitation practices. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing
Assistant (CNA) certification. CPR certification preferred.
