Job Description Job Summary: Position Summary: The Medical
Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs advanced
clinical procedures, including chemical, biological, immunological,
and bacteriological testing with an understanding of the theory and
principle. The person must have compassion for patients and be able
to represent the hospital mission. The Medical
Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist is cross-trained in
multiple areas of the laboratory within professional certification
and performs phlebotomy as needed. Education: Four year college
(Bachelor’s Degree) Certification: MT ASCP or MLS (ASCP) -
Preferred but not required Experience: No previous experience
