Job Description /n Overview: /n Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - IV Certification Required. /n Department: Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts /n /n The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice and state regulations. /n /n Working in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) department, the LPN/LVN collaborates with Registered Nurses (RNs) and the healthcare team to support patient safety, comfort, and a positive patient experience. Responsibilities: /n - Provide patient care in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). /n - Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and changes in health status. /n - Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and comfort. /n - Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered and permitted by licensure. /n - Support the implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. /n - Document patient care and observations in the electronic health record (EHR). /n - Maintain infection control standards and patient safety protocols. /n - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. /n Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING /n /n 1. Current and valid state license. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3.
