Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP Intermediate or Advanced Fetal
Monitoring STABLE (must complete within 30 days of start)
Must-Have: Experience in all phases of Labor and Postpartum care
Comfortable with care of well babies Description: Start date
needed. Looking for a registered nurse with experience in Labor and
Delivery. The facility handles low-risk patients and transfers
high-risk patients out for labor and delivery. The position
requires comfort with Antepartum, Intrapartum, and Postpartum care,
as well as couplet care. Travelers must be experienced in dealing
with post-partum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, HELLP, bilirubin
babies, NAS babies, and feeders/growers. Additional management of
low acuity patients is required. Assigned patient ratios are based
on guidelines. Nurse will provide care for both mothers and
newborns, including vital signs, thermoregulation, hypoglycemia,
and other care as needed. The unit is staffed with at least two
nurses overnight, with additional support available. Travelers may
float to Med-Surg or Task only, with no patient assignment taken.
Weekend rotation is every other week. No on-call duty is required.
Every other holiday commitment is expected. Approval for time off
will be sought from management. Requirements Required for
