Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week • Every other weekend schedule required • Rotating holidays • 5:1 RN to patient ratio • Care for 27-bed medical-surgical unit patients • Minimum 2 years of equivalent experience required • Must have NH RN License or Compact License with proof of state residency • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred • Required experience with post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley insertion • Must be proficient with G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes • IV medication administration and IV push experience required • Wound care and oxygen therapy experience required • Epic and telemetry experience preferred • Care for patients with various medical conditions including post-operative patients • Patient population primarily elderly but can be as young as 18 • Common diagnoses include post-op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF, and pneumonia Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 27-bed medical-surgical unit providing comprehensive inpatient care for patients with various medical conditions and post-operative needs.
