Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Accessioner to support our client’s medical facility in Shelton, CT . This is a 3-month assignment and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Summary: The team is currently short-staffed and is looking for a dependable contractor with strong data entry and computer skills. This role has strong potential to convert to full-time employment. Key Responsibilities: Accession incoming specimens Route specimens to appropriate laboratories or satellite facilities Prepare specimens for processing (sorting, labeling, organizing paperwork) Data entry of patient and client information into laboratory database Verify requisition accuracy and completeness Identify and hold specimens with incomplete information until resolved Scan, copy, and file specimen documentation Prepare labels and forms for accessioning Skills & Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED Additional Information: Location: Shelton, CT Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire) Pay Range : $17 - $18 hourly Shifts: Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
