Job Description Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough,
and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their
families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day,
we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality,
obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles
in order for our patients to live freely. About This Role Launched
in September 2025, our location in Brookfield, WI, is already home
to top local talent in behavioral health care. This
interdisciplinary team of trailblazers are building our adolescent
and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of
well-established clinicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners,
and nurses working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past
decade. Our Family Therapists play a key role in our
multi-disciplinary teams and work to ensure synergy across
treatment. As a Family Therapist, you’ll conduct family sessions
with patients and their loved ones that will aim at providing
support, offering education, and promoting collaboration. If your

you would be a great addition to our team. This role will work with
patients aged 12 (and flexibility to support 18) in our Mood &
Anxiety Program, while also offering the opportunity to be
cross-trained within our Adult specialty programs and services:
Trauma, OCD/Complex Anxiety, Mental Health and Substance Use. The
Adolescent Family Therapist is ideal for someone who is eager to
collaborate with an array of clinicians and patient populations,
while broadening their clinical skillset through ample training and
support. What You'll Do: Facilitating family sessions to a caseload
of assigned adolescent patients (ages 12-18) and their loved ones
Providing guidance and support to patients and family members to
help promote goals and encourage patients progress through the
program. Providing direction to families about effective ways of
supporting patients. Discussion topics and family therapy goals
include safety plans, incorporating skill implementation, improving
communication, creating behavior contracts. Works with various
presenting issues including depression, anxiety, school avoidance
and refusal, and OCD among others. Assisting in supporting families
through phone coaching and follow-up calls. Supporting patients in
crisis. Coordinating with the treatment team. This involves
attending rounds and other program meetings regularly as well as
using the electronic systems of communication. Communicating with
outside providers conducting family therapy for continuity of care.
Collaborating with the treatment team in assessing the patient’s
progress and need for higher level of care, stepdown, or discharge.
Helping the family to coordinate an effective discharge plan.
Providing individual support to patients as needed. Contributing
clinical observations and insights during interdisciplinary
meetings. Charting progress of patients appropriately in the
electronic medical record. Participating in program meetings as
needed. Working on projects focused on program improvement and the
overall growth and development of Compass. Provide group therapy
and primary therapy, as needed Work with patients and families in
our O18 programs as needed, especially during lower adolescent
census Other duties, as assigned Who You Are Are a Psychologist or
Master’s level therapist with clinical license 1 years clinical
work experience post-Master’s (strongly preferred) Have knowledge
and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other
evidenced-based therapies, ideally in the context of delivering
family therapy Have experience with patients in crisis, ideally
prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive
outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting We are

compensation range for this role is below. This range includes
multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall
in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but
not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience,
location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right
to update these ranges. Compensation $55,000—$90,000 USD We know
