Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A maternity leave coverage opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services. This contract position is located in Canton, MI, and focuses on supporting a preschool caseload within a school setting. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities Document student progress and maintain accurate records Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school professionals Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license Experience working in school-based settings, especially with preschool populations Ability to manage a caseload independently in accordance with school policies Strong communication and organizational skills Work Schedule and Location: Position is based in Canton, MI Monday through Friday, 7:50 am to 3:30 pm Contract role covering maternity leave from ASAP through the end of the school year This is an excellent opportunity for an OT looking to provide specialized services in a structured, supportive school environment.
