qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert care as a
Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) within a Level III high-acuity setting. This contract
opportunity is ideal for nurses with a strong background in caring
for micro preemies and high-risk neonates, supporting their growth
and recovery in a dynamic clinical environment. Location:This
position is located in Plainfield, IL, offering a suburban setting
with convenient access to nearby urban amenities. Plainfield

living with professional opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care to neonates born as early as 24 weeks
gestation, including micro preemies at 44 weeks. Manage infants
requiring respiratory support and post-surgical care. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
individualized care plans. Utilize Epic charting system to document
patient information accurately. Maintain high standards of patient
safety and infection control. Support growth and feeding plans for
high-acuity neonates. Float to Elmhurst campus as needed based on
census fluctuations. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2
years NICU nursing experience in a Level III NICU environment.
Proficient in caring for neonates born as early as 24 weeks
gestation, including growth and feeder challenges. Current Illinois
RN license. CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
certification. Experience with Epic electronic medical records
preferred. Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) Every
other weekend commitment Additional Details: This is a contract
position. Candidates should be available to start within two weeks.
Potential to float to nearby Elmhurst campus if census is low. This
role offers exposure to complex neonatal cases within a structured,
