Job Description:
Job Description OBGYN opening in Bangor, ME Seeking an
additional board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN to join our busy
hospital-employed practice. New graduates and those seeking visa
sponsorship are encouraged to apply.The role: Work alongside 8
physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and
skilled support staff Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and
gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately
500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and
many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital.
Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi
robots Our group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600
deliveries per year in Bangor. 24-hour access to Maternal Fetal
Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound
department and 9 full-time sonographers. On-site Anesthesia and
Level III NICU Our team provides consultation services for the
Family Medicine residency program, and we have rotating medical

project included a complete redesign of our Women & Infants unit
including twenty-five private patient rooms, six new labor and
delivery rooms, and two new state-of-the-art obstetrics/gynecology
surgical suites to complement the level of expertise found at our
medical center. Our office is located on the main hospital campus
allowing for efficient workflow between the office, operating
rooms, and Labor & Delivery.
