Job Description Psychiatrist - Region 6 Location: Northfield, OH 44067 Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Long-Term) Pay Rate: $150/hr- $180/hr (Depending upon experience). Key Responsibilities: • Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental health conditions • Prescribes medication and provides psychotherapy and counseling • Conducts psychological and neuropsychological assessments • Administers and interprets psychological tests • Prepares evaluation reports and treatment plans • Provides individual and group counseling for behavioral, emotional, and mental health issues • Conducts suicide risk and crisis assessments • Performs forensic evaluations and prepares reports for court • Assesses competency to stand trial and mental status of defendants • Provides expert testimony in court when required • Coordinates mental health services and treatment programs • Supervises or guides psychological services staff • Participates in treatment teams and provides professional consultation • Delivers therapy and psychoeducational programs for offenders or patients • Prepares progress, discharge, and statistical reports on treatment outcomes Required Qualifications: • Doctoral Degree • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification. • COVID vaccine card or exemption letter. • Drug Enforcement Administration certification.
