Job Description Physician - Family Medicine opening Augusta, ME - Full-time Hours: 40 Job Summary:As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area. To enhance, every day, the health of our patients, our families and our communities. Augusta Family Medicine, part of the primary care team at MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a family medicine physician to join our busy practice located in Augusta, Maine.This is a traditional outpatient practice, providing a wide range of care including pediatrics, adult medicine, gynecology, and geriatric medicine. Procedural care, such as osteopathic manipulation, sports medicine, minor surgery, and acupuncture, is encouraged, though not required; the ability to perform medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder is also available.The practice currently is staffed with an incredible team of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, along with an on-site PMHNP, care management and counseling services.
