An opportunity is available for a skilled Operating Room RN specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a renowned Level One Trauma Center. This role requires a minimum of three years of Level 1 trauma experience with strong expertise in advanced surgical nursing and patient care across a broad age spectrumfrom pediatrics to geriatrics. As a valued member of the surgical team, you will provide care for complex cases including robotics-assisted surgeries and various general and specialty procedures. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care during Gynecology and Genitourinary surgeries. Manage patient care for procedures such as robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, Level One Trauma Center environment. Maintain familiarity and proficiency with surgical equipment, including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot systems. Adhere to unit protocols and provide 1:1 patient ratios for optimal care and safety. Participate in call rotations, including one overnight trauma call (11p-7a) as scheduled. Qualifications/Desired Experience: Minimum of 3 years Level 1 trauma experience in operating room settings. CNOR certification preferred. Competence in advanced surgical technologies and complex procedural expertise. Experience in general surgery, GU/GYN specialties, Orthopedic trauma and joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular specialties is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic. Strong teamwork skills, flexibility, accountability, and punctuality. Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM shifts. 36 guaranteed weekly hours. Weekend rotation: approximately 1:4 weekends, 12-hour shifts.
