registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Deliver specialized nursing
care on the Stepdown unit within a well-established healthcare
setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work
under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader,
ensuring quality patient care aligned with state regulations and
facility protocols. Location Based in Bangor, MEa vibrant community
known for its rich history, scenic views, and access to outdoor
activities. Bangor provides an excellent balance of urban amenities
and small-town charm, making it a great place to live and work.
Responsibilities Provide patient care functions as approved by the
Maine Board of Nursing and facility policies Collaborate closely
with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse for shift supervision
Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and facility
procedures Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the
healthcare team Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced
environment Qualifications and Desired Experience Current Maine RN
license required BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30
days of hire Bachelors Degree preferred Telemetry experience highly
preferred Strong team player with exceptional communication and
multitasking skills Willingness to work flexible hours Additional
Details Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid) to ensure a smooth
transition The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts
per 13-week contract If residing within 50 miles of the facility,
pay rate adjustments apply Contract Type This is a contract role
with the possibility of varying shift schedules to accommodate your
