Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with a focus in the operating room is needed for a contract assignment located in Woodstock, GA. This role involves being an integral part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care within a perioperative clinical setting. The nurse will advocate for patients and families while upholding system policies and service excellence through evidence-based practice and professional nursing standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation tailored to perioperative care. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to cultural diversity and population-specific needs. Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely documentation and fostering a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support shared governance, and contribute to research and evidence-based practice development. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and sustaining a qualified nursing workforce. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, clinical competencies, and safety standards including The Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals. Manage resources efficiently and contribute to protocol development aimed at improving patient outcomes across the care continuum. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred. Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact). BLS certification required upon hire. Less than 1 year of experience acceptable; recent graduates with clinical experience are welcome. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and customer service skills. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly to emergencies. Schedule: Day shift: 6:45 AM 5:15 PM, 3 days per week. Primarily Monday through Friday, with potential weekend on-call shifts. 30-minute call-back requirement; on-call rotation.
