Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Orthopedic /n/n Job Details: /n • Work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Surgical unit providing direct and indirect patient care /n• Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay /n• Involve patients and caregivers in plan development and updates throughout stay /n• Administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and blood components according to clinical standards and policies /n• Must be trained and demonstrate competency in application of restraints and implementation of seclusion /n• Monitor, assess, and provide care for patients in restraint or seclusion /n• BLS certification required /n• 1 year previous nursing experience preferred /n• Must not be a previous employee of the facility /n• Candidates with licensure hits or background issues will not be considered /n• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid /n• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract /n• Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius /n/n Facility: /n This regional medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides a full range of medical and surgical services to the community.
