Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered Nursing professional with Operating Room Technician (ORT) expertise is needed immediately for a contract position in Enfield, NH. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a technologically advanced surgery department featuring 26 spacious OR suites handling a wide range of inpatient and outpatient procedures. Care spans all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, across multiple specialties including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neurology, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery. Qualifications and Required Certifications: Current BLS certification Must obtain and maintain New Hampshire Medical Technician (Med Tech) certification upon acceptance National Certification in relevant field required Previous experience in an OR setting is highly preferred Schedule and Shift Details: Primary shifts: Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Additional shifts during the week vary between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM based on unit needs Off-shift and on-call requirements include 4 to 5 shifts or on-call instances per 13-week contract, which may involve weekday nights or weekend day/nights Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a multi-specialty surgical environment Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare for and assist in complex procedures using advanced technology Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols Location Insights: Enfield, NH, is a welcoming community known for its scenic landscapes and peaceful living environment.
