registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a high-acuity Level III NICU, delivering expert support to
micro preemies and critically ill neonates. This contract
opportunity offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, focusing on
complex respiratory and surgical patients from 24 weeks gestation
and up, including grower-feeders and infants requiring respiratory
support. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care
tailored to high-acuity, Level III NICU patients, including micro
preemies (as early as 24 weeks gestation). Manage advanced
respiratory support and postoperative care for neonatal surgical
cases. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and
implement individualized care plans. Utilize Epic charting system
proficiently to document patient care and monitor progress.
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and
infection control practices. May be required to float to another
campus based on census needs. Qualifications and Experience:
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum 2 years
experience in a Level III NICU setting. Certified in CPR and
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Skilled in managing
high-acuity neonatal patients, including those born at 24 weeks
gestation and weighing as little as 44 weeks gestation equivalents.
Experience supporting both respiratory and surgical neonatal cases.
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records preferred.
Location:Position is based in Plainfield, ILa vibrant community

PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required This contract role may
include floating to a nearby campus depending on patient census. If
