registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN

for patients transitioning from intensive care to general
medical-surgical units, providing critical monitoring and support.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to
stepdown unit patients with complex medical needs Monitor patient
conditions, recognize changes, and intervene promptly Administer
medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician
orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to
coordinate patient care plans Educate patients and families about
health status and post-discharge instructions Maintain accurate and
detailed clinical documentation Desired Experience and
Qualifications: Current and valid RN license in the state of
Kentucky Proven experience working in a stepdown or progressive
care unit Ability to manage multiple patients with varied acuity
levels effectively Strong assessment, critical thinking, and
communication skills BLS and ACLS certification preferred Location
