Overview: /n Department: Oncology/Hematology /n Shift: Full-Time, Night, 12-Hour Shifts/ Rotating Weekend /n Hospital: Central Maine Medical Center /n Location: Lewiston, ME /n /n The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in the Oncology/Infusion Center, delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology treatments to adult patients with malignancies. The RN educates patients and families, monitors treatment responses, and ensures safe, evidence-based care. Responsibilities: /n - Administer chemotherapy and oncology treatments safely. /n - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. /n - Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, side effects, and supportive care. /n - Monitor patient responses and manage adverse reactions. /n - Maintain accurate documentation in EHR following oncology standards. /n - Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care teams. /n - Support Cancer Registry Services with accurate treatment data. /n Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING /n /n 1. Current and valid state RN License. /n 2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. /n 3. Oncology Nursing Certification preferred. /n 4.
