Physical Therapist Location: South Portland, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,495 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have a current license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Must have recent Home Health experience Description: This position involves home visits for therapy services. Periodic office meetings are required. Candidates must have reliable transportation. A current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance are necessary. The average number of patients seen per day is 5 to 6. Contractors will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day. Each type of visit and activity has a different point value. Contractors can expect to accumulate roughly 6 to 8 points daily. Guaranteed hours are not provided. In cases of low patient census, contractors may discuss options for additional hours. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Up visits. First-time travelers are not accepted; recent Home Health experience is required. Weekend availability may vary per location and profession; this will be discussed during the interview. On-call requirements vary by job and location and should be discussed with management. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75 miles for patient visits. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted; a license must be in hand unless it takes a few days to obtain. Candidates may need to float to another clinic for additional hours if needed. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours post-appointment. All clinicians must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance. Delayed or incomplete documentation affecting billing may result in cancellation of future assignments. There are no guaranteed hours; clinicians must meet weekly productivity expectations of 30 points. All overtime must be pre-approved. Experience with HomeCare HomeBase EMR is required.
