Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Boothbay Harbor, ME, at a hospital outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing coastal Maine. Apply now and a recruiter will reach out with more details. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Maine PT license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including experience with 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions and productivity expectations of approximately 10 patients per day. (Preferred) Experience completing documentation and billing on the day services are delivered preferred. (Preferred) Ability to complete discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge or notification preferred. (Preferred) Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital outpatient clinic. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0800-1630. Schedule: Monday–Friday, five days per week, eight hours per day. Caseload: Approximately 10 patients per day; treatment model includes 45-minute evaluations and treatment sessions with 30 minutes of scheduled documentation time built into the day. This is a summer coverage temporary assignment supporting outpatient staff during scheduled vacations. Location Highlights Boothbay Harbor offers a coastal setting with access to maritime attractions and outdoor recreation. The town is adjacent to the Boothbay Harbor waterfront and the working harbor with boat tours and whale-watching charters within a short drive. The area is approximately 45 minutes from Camden Hills State Park, which provides hiking trails and coastal viewpoints. Local options include the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, located within a short drive, and access to island ferries and coastal drives along Route 27. The community fits a quiet, coastal lifestyle with seasonal tourism, seafood dining, local galleries, and easy access to outdoor activities such as kayaking and sailing. Additional Information This role involves delivering skilled outpatient physical therapy services in accordance with best practice and organizational standards. Documentation and billing are expected to be completed on the day services are delivered. Vacation requests during the week of July 4th cannot be approved for this summer coverage assignment.
