Job Description Internal Medicine opening in Connecticut* Located in *Wilton, CT - just 55 miles to NYC! Full-time, permanent opening Employed position Joining a well-established, growing practice Outpatient only 3-5 years of experience requiredKey Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions Conduct routine check-ups, screenings, and preventive care to maintain patient health Develop personalized care plans, in collaboration with patients, to achieve optimal health outcomes Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards Educate patients and their families about managing chronic conditions, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive care Collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of care delivery processes Stay current on medical advancements and best practices in primary careRequirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 3-5 years of experience in an outpatient care setting Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Connecticut Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsConnecticut Lifestyle: Connecticut's convenient location allows easy access to major cities like New York and Boston while maintaining a high quality of life with low crime rates and beautiful, welcoming suburban neighborhoods The state has excellent educational institutions, from top-ranked public schools to prestigious universities and boasts a strong job market, particularly in finance, healthcare, and technology* Residents enjoy the states rich history and culture, with numerous museums, theaters, and historic sites along with a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and boating
