Job Description Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join our growing cancer program in Lewiston, Maine. Position Highlights - Full-time hospital-employed position - Established multidisciplinary cancer program - Strong referral network and collaborative environment - Opportunity to develop subspecialty focus (GI, hepatobiliary, melanoma, etc.) Responsibilities - Evaluate and surgically manage benign and malignant tumors - Perform complex oncologic procedures - Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards - Collaborate with oncology, radiology, and specialty teams - Provide consultative and follow-up care Qualifications - MD or DO from an accredited medical school - Completion of General Surgery residency - Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology preferred - Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery - Eligible for Maine medical licensure Pay Transparency CMH actively promotes diversity in its workforce at all levels of the organization.
