Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist
/ Sonographer for a Vascular Testing unit at a Level II Trauma
Center, requiring RVT or RVS certification and at least 2 years of
experience with both pediatric and adult patients. Details -
Position is based in the Vascular Testing unit of a 411-bed Level
II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center serving approximately
two-thirds of Maine - Primary work location is the main campus,
with possible rotation to an affiliated Outpatient Imaging Center
as needed - Must have experience with both pediatric and adult
patient populations - 40 hours per week on a variable schedule;
scheduling specifics are discussed during the manager interview -
EMR: Cerner - May float between the main campus and the Outpatient
Imaging Center as needed Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of
sonography experience required - Current BLS certification required
- RVT or RVS certification required - Experience with both
pediatric and adult patient populations required - Compact or ME
license required if applicable - Full SSN required for
consideration - Driver's license required for consideration - 2
references within the past year required for consideration,
including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or
Charge (peer references not accepted) - Copies of all
certifications required for consideration - Flu vaccination
required for employment clearance; medical exemptions only, subject
to facility approval - Candidate's permanent address must be 100
miles south/southwest of the facility - Candidates who have
previously worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a
permanent capacity are not eligible Additional Information -

Supported by a Lead Tech and Physician on the unit - Manager
interviews are conducted as part of the hiring process - All RTO
requests require manager approval - Scrubs may be any solid,
