Detail: 36 hours per week, perm night shift. Every other weekend,

every moment matters! Hartford Hospital is actively hiring
Registered Nurses (RN) for our Critical Care Nursing Units .
Experienced nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply. This
posting is on Bliss 7 ICU, the Medical Intensive Care Unit which is
a 12-bed unit that provides care to patients with a wide range of
complex, highly acute medical issues utilizing a variety of
advanced technologies and devices including CRRT. These issues
include but are not limited to; respiratory failure,
gastrointestinal bleeding, liver injury/failure, kidney
injury/failure, sepsis, and drug and alcohol withdrawal. Under the
supervision of a Critical Care Pulmonologist, the unit is staffed
24 hours-a-day with a team of Pulmonary Critical Care Fellows and
medical house staff physicians consisting of interns and residents.

Qualifications Current Connecticut RN License. Graduate of an
accredited nursing school (BSN Required). BLS certification by the
American Heart Association required prior to date of hire. Minimum
one year acute care RN experience strongly preferred. In
exceptional circumstances, Registered Nurses with an ASN/ADN who
are currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered.
