Registered Nurse (RN) – School Nurse Position Overview TLC
Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) – School Nurse to provide healthcare services
within a school environment. The ideal candidate will support
student health, promote wellness, and manage medical conditions to
ensure a safe and healthy school community. Responsibilities Assess
and treat student illnesses and injuries during the school day.
Administer medications and monitor students with chronic health
conditions. Maintain accurate health records and documentation in
compliance with school and healthcare regulations. Develop and
implement health care plans for students with special needs.
Provide health education to students, staff, and parents. Respond
to medical emergencies and coordinate care with emergency personnel
as needed. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school
administrators to support student well-being. Qualifications
Education: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from
an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the applicable state. Certification: CPR and First
Aid certification required; School Nurse Certification preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in pediatric, community health, or
school nursing is highly desirable. Skills: Strong communication,
clinical assessment, and organizational skills. Benefits
