Job Description:
MaineHealth Geriatric Medicine is seeking a Physician Associate
(PA) to care for patients in the hospital at MaineHealth Franklin
Hospital in Farmington, Maine. Physician Associate will be
responsible for providing primary care services, including
assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating
patients. Works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a
team approach to patient care. This person will work in the nursing
home setting providing care to post-acute and long-term care
patients. The PA or NP will work with a team of geriatricians and
other APPs in a shared patient model. This position practices
within partnered facilities, which include long-term, assisted
living, and skilled rehabilitation care settings in Farmington, ME.

completion of accredited Physician Associate/Assistant program. Two
years of Physician Asociate/Assistant experience preferred but not
required. Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible
for licensure. Current BLS certification. This position offers:
