$24.29 - $33.84 per hour* *This includes a $.60 per hour
institutional stipend Position 03100-3880 Location: Augusta, Maine
Job Overview : This is professional services work involving the
co-occurring assessment and treatment of clients at Riverview
Psychiatric Center in a hospital setting. You will be performing
diagnostic assessments, providing clinical input in client/staff
consultations, developing co-occurring and substance use treatment
plans, reviewing current substance use programs, as well as
instructing students and staff. Work is performed under limited
supervision. Minimum Qualifications : A Bachelor’s Degree in a
field related to co-occurring disorders or equivalent in directly
related work experience AND two (2) years’ experience in
co-occurring counseling. Education cannot be substituted for
required two years’ experience in co-occurring counseling.
Licensing Requirements : Licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug
Counselor as issued by State Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors
is also required. Preference will be given to those with a clinical
license. Agency information : Riverview Psychiatric Center, in
collaboration with the community, is a center for best practice,
treatment, education and research, for individuals with serious,
persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use
