Job Description:
Licensed Practical Nurse – School Nurse TLC Nursing Associates,
Inc. TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a reliable and caring
Licensed Practical Nurse – School Nurse to support the health and
well-being of students in an academic setting. The LPN will provide
basic medical care, administer medications, and respond to student
health needs during school hours in coordination with school staff
and healthcare providers. Job Responsibilities Provide first aid
and routine healthcare to students and staff during school hours.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician
orders and parental consent. Maintain accurate health records,
medication logs, and incident documentation. Monitor students with
chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or allergies. Support
the implementation of individual healthcare plans (IHPs) and
emergency response plans. Communicate with parents, school staff,
and healthcare professionals regarding student health issues.
Promote health education and preventive care practices in the
school environment. Qualifications Active LPN license in good
standing. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Minimum 1 year of pediatric or school health experience preferred.
Current BLS certification required. Strong communication,
organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work
independently and respond calmly in emergency situations. Benefits
