Job Description:

the specialties of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry,
orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and
prosthodontics. Our network of high-standard professionals provides
exceptional care to our patients throughout Connecticut! Currently,
we are looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our family.
Candidates should have a strong work ethic and be team players.
Recent graduates are welcome! Specific job responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Perform dental hygiene services
and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling and root
planing, application of fluoride, and sealants Detect disease by
completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining
gums, using probes to locate periodontal disease, and assessing
levels of recession Selection of materials and equipment for a
dental hygiene visit by evaluating the patient’s oral health
Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control
instructions, and postoperative instructions Document dental
hygiene services by recording vital signs, medical and dental
histories, and charting in patient charts Sterilization of
equipment Take x-rays as necessary and as recommended by the ADA

degree from an accredited dental hygiene program Valid license to
practice in Connecticut (Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH)
Available to work within current office hours, specific shifts to
