operates with a psychiatric APRN need across two different
locations. One location serves as an outpatient behavioral health
clinic offering counseling and support for mental health and
substance use needs. The second location functions as a residential
treatment facility providing structured care for individuals with
substance use and co-occurring disorders. About the Facility
Location Connecticut offers diverse recreational opportunities
including kayaking through outfitters in Old Lyme and hiking trails
throughout various state parks. The state features notable
attractions such as Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino and
Arena, Yale University, and Mystic Seaport, which showcases the
region's maritime heritage through indoor and outdoor experiences.
About the Clinician's Workday The psychiatric physician associate
will deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adults
requiring mental health and substance use treatment across two
specialized locations. Clinical duties include conducting thorough
psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans,
and managing psychotropic medications while working Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday from 8AM-4PM at the outpatient behavioral
health clinic, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7AM-3PM at the
treatment center. The clinician will see 8-12 patients per day,
maintaining detailed documentation and collaborating with nursing
staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
delivery throughout both the behavioral health clinic and
residential treatment environments. Additional Job Details Case
