Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Presque Isle, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,106 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technician Specialty: Nuclear Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 40 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Required state license Certifications: BLS, NMTCB or ARRT (NM) required, Dosimeter (Dose reader badge) required Must-Have: Experience with DEXA scans, cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, PET CT Description: Immediate start needed. Interviews will be conducted, followed by manager approval. Duties will include covering PET scans. There are three imaging rooms available: Gamma Camera, Stress Room, and PET CT. Approximately 8-10 patients are seen per day, with a maximum of 5 patients per day when performing PET CT scans. Support on the unit includes a lead tech and two techs per shift. There is internal transport available and a radiologist is on-site. The EMR system used is Cerner, and PACS is Enterprise Imaging AGFA. The equipment utilized includes a Siemens dual-head camera and a GE IQ PET CT. No weekends or call required. There are no holiday expectations. Techs will rotate start times between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM, working 8-10 hour days based on the schedule for that day. Scrub color should be any solid color as long as it is professional.
