Position Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Cardiac
Sonography Specialty: Echocardiography Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
7A-5P Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year required
License: ME State Licensure not required Certifications: BLS
required, ARDMS required, CCI-RCS preferred Must-Have: Experience
with adult patient population; inpatient and outpatient routine
scans including structural heart, cardiac Echos, TEE, and Stress
Tests Description: Start date needed soon. Manager interviews will
be arranged. Level II Trauma Center with air flight capabilities
serving a large region. Certified Stroke Center on-site. Seven
imaging rooms available for echocardiography procedures. Work with
6-9 additional sonographers in the department. Support provided by
7 cardiologists. Familiarity with EMR systems required. Phillips
equipment utilized in the department. Weekend rotation will be part
of the scheduling. Call rotation typically involves one night per
week. Holidays considered part of weekend/call rotation. Approval
for time off requires manager consent. Scrub color is teal.
