Job Description:

Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is a long-term onsite opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities.The physician will provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both outpatient and procedural settings, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Perform the full range of colonoscopy procedures, including colonoscopy with biopsy, ablation, and removal of tumor/polyp/lesion, and colonoscopy via colostomy Perform Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedures, including diagnostic EGD, EGD with biopsy, and EGD with removal of tumor/polyp/lesion Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services, including bedside consultations for non-ambulatory patients Provide discharge education and coordinated follow-up instructions for all gastroenterology clinical and surgical patients Participate in quality assurance programs, chart reviews, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and timely medical records and complete QA/QI documentation for all procedures, complications, and outcomes Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth Current BLS and ACLS certifications Valid DEA certificate and National Provider Identifier (NPI) Strong clinical experience in gastroenterology, including endoscopic procedures Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Weeknight On-Call: Monday Friday, 4:30 PM 8:00 AM (1 week in every 4-week rotation) Weekend/Holiday On-Call: One weekend per 4-weekend rotation; one holiday per 4-holiday rotation On-call physician must be reachable by phone within 15 minutes and available in person within 1 hour Benefits Highly competitive compensation Travel reimbursement including airfare, rental car, and lodging (when applicable) Comprehensive credentialing and onboarding support Long-term contract potential with multiple option periodsWhy Join Vigilant Healthcare Solutions?
