    Position Purpose:The Music People (TMP), a Division of Jam Industries, has been in business for over 40 years as a leader in the MI (musical instrument) and professional audio industry is looking for an Operations Support Associate to assist our Customer Service team. This role will be responsible for a combination of problem solving and transactional work.Job Responsibilities Include:
    • Processing inbound requests for
      • Parts Requests
      • Warranty Orders
      • Sales Return Orders
      • Sales Orders
      • Vendor Return Orders
      • Resolution of warehouse receiving issues
      • Processing, incoming Emails and requests for action from
        • Other internal teams
        • Customers
        • Vendors
        • End users
        • Updating and maintaining ERP database information
          • Customer Information
          • Product Information
          • Vendor Information
          • Inventory Adjustments
          • Being part of a team that interfaces with customer by responding to:
            • Inbound Customer Service calls
            • Inbound vendor information calls
            • Making Outbound calls to
              • Vendors
              • Customers
              • End users
                Requirements:To perform this role effectively, applicants should possess the following:Skills:
                • Ability to navigate EDI and B2B portals
                • Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook), MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint
                • Command of 10-key and alphanumeric keyboard entry by touch
                • Capability to type more than 40 words per minuteQualities:
                  • Skilled in multitasking, time-management, and prioritization of tasks
                  • Succinct and effective verbal and written communication
                  • Highly organized in the workspace
                  • Process and detail oriented
                  • Efficient information retention and recall
                  • Aptitude for learning new material
                  • Flexibility to adapt to changes and take on additional responsibilities
