Job Description: JOB SUMMARY Provides administrative and some professional support in all Human Resources functions including staffing and recruiting, orientation, terminations, personnel policies and procedures, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations for a specific customer group. Requires coverage of multiple business sites. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to): Under HR Managers guidance, works with managers to determine appropriate recruitment activities for open positions and then initiates recruitment by advertising, if necessary, screening resumes and applications for managers, and interviewing final candidates. Maintains and conducts new employees orientation program and materials. Maintains and completes day-to-day applicable administrative tasks delegated. Example: Employee Badges, Supplies, Purchasing, Invoices) Under HR Managers guidance answers employees day-to-day questions. Manages employee issues independently, using sound judgement to refer to a higher authority, when necessary. Assists with compensation administration by referring employee concerns to a higher authority; participating in compensation surveys, as directed; maintaining accurate pay ranges and employee records. Conducts benefits administration on a day-to-day basis by answering employees questions, being a liaison to benefits providers, processing appropriate paperwork, and conducting annual open enrollment. Including but not limited to Tuition Reimbursement, NHSC, Employee Referral Program, etc. Administers The Village Workers Compensation program. Acts as liaison between The Village and workers compensation insurer, answers employees questions, and works with managers to help successfully bring employees back to work. Acts as primary liaison between Payroll and Human Resources. Assists with the maintenance of The Village payroll/human resources information system. Experience and Skills: EDUCATION Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience in Human Resources required. EXPERIENCE Minimum of five years experience in Human Resources. Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration HRIS experience and maintenance required ATS experience and maintenance required. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills including a helpful and friendly demeanor focused on customer service. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), intranet usage, email, office systems High level of accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to organize and prioritize work, consistently meet deadlines.
