Overview

Job Description

The Manager leads team of human resources business partners and/or generalists. This leader will proactively manage the human resources needs of a large facility, while becoming a trusted resource for its leadership team and employees.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of HR business partners and/or generalists.
Oversee the administration of annual processes such as merit planning, compensation, performance reviews, succession planning, training, recruiting and workforce planning.
Partner with the site's leadership team to develop and implement an engagement strategy utilizing data from surveys to deploy tactics that increase employee engagement and support Elbit's family culture.
Act as a business partner for one or two business units/functions
Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10-15 years of human resource experience
5 or more years as a generalist or business partner is preferred
Demonstrated leadership capability and experience
Broad familiarity and working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines such as compensation practices, performance management, succession planning, training, recruiting, workforce planning, and federal and state respective employment law.
PHR or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is preferred.
