Senior Software Engineer in Newtown , Pennsylvania The Opportunity - Senior Software Engineer Curtiss-Wright's Teletronics Technology Corporation (TTC) facility in Newtown, PA is the world's leading provider of aerospace flight test solutions for both defense and commercial use. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This position will report to the Senior Manager in charge of Windows desktop software. Location: Newtown, PA Design and implement new features and improvements in the software Redesign portions of the software's architecture to improve performance and usability Interface with other groups within Curtiss-Wright to support new hardware product development Collaborate with the existing engineering team Plan and execute projects from start to finish Your Expertise: 5+ years of recent software development experience Experience with C#, Visual Basic .NET, WinForms, and Microsoft Visual Studio are mandatory Ability to understanding complex software architectures Ability to document and present software architecture and/or designs Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment Experience in the aviation industry is an asset Experience with common network protocols Experience with SQL databases is a plus Ability to work independently or with a small team on complex projects Education Requirements
