Sales Navigator team, part of LinkedIn Sales Solutions, builds scalable products to search and identify interested buyers, provides customers with information to research, intelligent insights, understand buyer needs and empowers them to be more effective in selling. Team is responsible for building world class products that impact peoples professional lives and their job performance. As a Software Engineer, on the Sales Navigator team, you will be responsible for creating customer-facing features and/or building systems to connect the worlds sales professionals to opportunity. You will directly impactsystems supporting millions of enterprise customer seats translating to -$1B dollars in LinkedIn revenue. You will work with systems that process billions of records a day and will be responsible for building distributed systems that can handle millions of users. Responsibilities:-You will work with your team members to understand the needs of users and propose scalable solutions. -You will design solutions by making architectural trade-offs and collaborating with your team to identify the best solution. -You build high quality products by writing safe, performant and well tested code. -You will solve hard technical problems brought about by the scale that LinkedIn and Sales Navigator operate at applying your industry knowledge and experience and by researching state of the art technologies. -You will review code from your colleagues and partner with them as they design and build solutions. -You will partner and collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams within the company to build systems that operate reliably 24x7. Basic Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent technical experience 1+ years of industry experience. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant work experience. MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline with relevant experience. Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Proven coding skills in Java/Python/Scala/JavaScript, data systems, and knowledge of internet protocols such as HTTP, TLS Experience building web applications and services with IDEs, gradle, junit, Git/GitHub etc. Good knowledge of distributed data processing such as Spark Good knowledge of streaming processing such as Kafka Experience in designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale. Experience with or interest in desktop/browser UI development and in Javascript, HTML and CSS Knowledge or experience integrating with CRM systemsYou will Benefit from our Culture:We strongly believe in the well-being of our employees and their families. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
