Business (Technical) Product Architect - (Re-Insurance Broking) - Norwalk

Develop specific business-focused strategic plans to be used by IT in developing roadmaps and long-term solutions.Work with IT architecture to ensure strategic priorities drives value for the business.Help your business segment to understand the effort, risk, and impact of making changes.Understand & document business requirements and translate them to IT architects, developers, and testers.Direct, plan and manage tasks related to assigned application portfolio including stakeholder communications.Learn and understand all technical and non-technical aspects related to assigned projects.Work with the systems maintenance team to ensure smooth transition when the project development is completed.Drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and participate in developing technical alternatives.Respond quickly in a rapidly changing business environment.Research and participate in training and stay current on related issues and technologies.Understand security, privacy and regulatory requirements affecting your application portfolio. -Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):significant reinsurance broking experience2. Do you have C-Suite level communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills3. Do you have the ability to build engaging relationships with technical & non-technical teams.4. Do you have experience managing technical projects.5. Do you have experience in managing teams of both company employees and 3rd parties.6. Do you have a deep understanding of reinsurance ops - the business, processes, and data7. Do you have knowledge of IT Systems (e.g., Infrastructure, Applications and Data)8. Do you have knowledge of project financials (ROI, CapEx and OpEx)9. Do you have experience of or willingness to train, mentor and coordinate virtual teams. -10.
