Zero Gravity Marketing is interviewing for an e-commerce web developer, with the ability to work primarily in Shopify & WordPress WooCommerce.

In this position you will be part of a marketing agency development team, built to assist in the production of exceptional web experiences for our clients. The primary focus of this role will be web development mixed with strategic and creative thinking.

Our ideal team member would be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced team environment and enjoy problem solving. A critical-thinker with foresite and the ability to make judgment calls on whether the client requires pre-built or custom solutions for their specific needs.

Clean, maintainable, and documentable code is a must.

Responsibilities:

• The development and management of e-commerce websites for Shopify & WooCommece
• Work in pre-built and custom themes, modules for Shopify & WooCommece
• Custom developed functional solutions (custom modules)
• Custom developed themes as required (custom themes)
• Ability to work across various platforms and willingness to learn Technical Skills:
  • An expert with Shopify, WordPress and WooCommerce
  • Expert knowledge of Liquid, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP LAMP stack
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify 2.0 themes, Shopify CLI and GIT.
  • Experience with Google Merchant Center, Shopify Sales Channels, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram.
  • Experience preferred but not required in: Webflow, SalesForce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Klaviyo.
  • Understand Google Analytics tracking, Facebook and AdWord conversion pixel tracking, and enhanced eCommerce tracking
  • Experience with technical SEO (including troubleshooting analytics issues, site speed optimization, structured data, AMP, etc.)
  • Understand on-page SEO, site speed and architectural impacts on SEO
  • Experience in connecting website forms to CRM systems using tools like Zapier Requirements:
    • Thrives in a fast-paced agency environment
    • Well-organized and an effective communicator
    • Have confidence in web-based UIs for CMS and e-Commerce management
    • Impeccable communication and willingness to work with other teammates and departments with transitional ability
    • Fast-learner with a self-motivated time-conscious attitude that can forecast challenges and raise hand early to ask for help from other team members
