Job Description
The Oracle National Security Realms (ONSR) is currently in need of
a developer with experience in the world of Business
Intelligence/Data Analytics to help us develop, deliver, and
maintain a distributed system of analytics infrastructure to
support operations, customers, and Oracle decision makers. This is
a new team with exciting opportunities to help us shape Analytics
and Business Intelligence for OCI's portfolio of restricted realm
business. In this role you will be responsible for enabling data
warehouses, optimizing existing databases for efficient analysis,
creating table schema using ETL. You will collaborate with your
fellow data engineers for the development and delivery of front-end
visualization and dashboard systems in both classified and
unclassified environments.
Duties will include
Create and review complex SQL queries, views, and various
mathematical functions
Perform unit testing to validate accuracy and validity of reports
and data integrity
Develop and optimize visualizations linking multiple data systems
and service APIs into a cohesive, centralized analytics
framework
Analyze and develop frameworks to maximize system uptime, service
metrics, performance, and deployment automation
Create actionable business intelligence tools, dashboards, and
reports
Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity and performance issues
Work closely with intake and business teams to gather and define
requirement
Provide business / user training in BI reporting tools and reports
as needed
Perform tasks and duties related to ad hoc report analysis, design,
and processing
Develop data infrastructure to use data for advanced analytics &
data science algorithms
Orchestrate & maintain meaningful operational and service metrics
and dashboards
Develop automation solutions for movement of data from one kind of
storage to another
Basic Qualifications
US Citizenship and possess active TS/SCI Security Clearance with
the ability to obtain Poly required; active Poly preferred
3+ years experience with scripting and compiled languages,
preferably Python, bash and RESTful API experience
Experience with report design and delivery using
OBIEE/Tableau/Power BI/Looker ML or other professional
visualization suites
3+ years experience in building and maintaining full stack data
infrastructures.
1+Experience with any of visualization tools like Tableau,
Microstrategy, OAC etc.
Proficiency in SQL / PL SQL
Prior experience developing and maintaining ETLs from various
disparate systems
Excellent judgment in influence for product roadmap direction,
features, and priorities
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud services, networking, or SaaS products
Experienced development skills using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud
ADW, Oracle Cloud Big Data, and/or Oracle Analytics CloudExperience
working in the US Government cleared space
Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data
granularity
A background as an engineer supporting operations for a cloud/large
IT environment
High ownership with a strong bias for action
Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new
tools and software quickly
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written)
at different levels in the org
Experience using agile software development practices and
associated tooling
Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific
to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market
conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing
products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
