Job Description Onsite Opening :: Desktop Support Engineer
Location :: Southington, CT (Day one onsite) Duration :: Contract
Summary Responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining
secure Windows desktop images, managing Intune/Autopilot
deployments, and administering endpoint configurations, policies,
and updates across enterprise environments. Must?Have Skills 6–8
years’ experience in Windows desktop engineering / endpoint
management Strong experience with Intune, Autopilot, and Windows
image lifecycle management Expertise in building & customizing
Windows images (drivers, patches, security baselines, apps)
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation Strong
understanding of Azure AD Join/Hybrid Join automations Experience
managing Windows Updates, feature upgrades, driver/firmware
deployments Ability to validate updates in test environments and
troubleshoot failures Strong knowledge of GPOs, Intune Device
Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, and Security Baselines
Experience ensuring images meet security & compliance standards
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and endpoint administration
skills Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Endpoint
Configuration Manager (SCCM) Experience with Zero?Touch/Light?Touch
imaging practices Familiarity with BitLocker, Defender, and
endpoint security hardening Experience supporting large-scale
enterprise deployments Strong understanding of desktop lifecycle
management and ITIL processes Knowledge of driver management, OEM
tools, and firmware update workflows
