Clean Harbors, a leader in North American environmental and industrial services, seeks a qualified CDL Driver with a Class B license and Hazmat endorsement to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to ensure the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous materials, contributing to our overarching goal of safeguarding the environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating vehicles that transport hazardous waste from various client sites to designated facilities, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Safely operate Class B vehicles in compliance with company guidelines and federal/state regulations. Transport hazardous waste materials from collection points to disposal facilities. Maintain compliance with DOT and hazmat regulations. Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and integrity of the vehicle. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers/miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Report any incidents or accidents to a supervisor immediately. Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings. Ability to maneuver and control the vehicle in all kinds of traffic and weather conditions. Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws. Experience in handling hazardous materials and understanding of disposal protocols. Strong communication and documentation skills.
