Job Description:
US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor in America, is
seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Delivery Driver to join our dynamic
team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the timely and safe
delivery of our extensive range of products, including high-quality
private label items, to our valued customers nationwide. The ideal
candidate will be a dependable individual with a strong commitment
to outstanding customer service and adherence to strict safety and
regulatory standards. Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck
in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver
products to customers while maintaining on-time delivery and
communication. Load and unload truck, verifying the order integrity
and ensuring products are undamaged. Manage route and schedule
efficiently to maximize fuel usage and delivery times. Perform pre-
and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety. Maintain
log books and other required transport documentation according to
FMCSA rules. Build strong relationships with customers, addressing
and resolving service issues promptly. Proficiency in operating a
commercial vehicle Strong understanding of transportation logistics
Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to lift
heavy objects and handle physical workload Effective communication
