Job Description:
Join the dynamic warehouse team at Performance Foodservice, a
leading food distributor delivering a diverse range of products to
a broad spectrum of customers nationwide. As a Night Warehouse
Order Selector, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our
quality food and related products are accurately prepared and
dispatched for delivery to our customers from family-owned
establishments to large national chains. This position operates
under the cover of night, contributing to the seamless supply chain
operations that our company prides itself on. Navigate warehouse
layout and locate products using technology including RF scanners.
Pick and pack orders with precision, ensuring accuracy in item
selection and quantity. Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as
pallet jacks and forklifts. Load and organize products efficiently
on delivery trucks. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the
warehouse environment. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to
ensure a secure workplace for all employees. Conduct inventory
checks and report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Ability to
operate warehouse machinery, forklift certification preferred.
Efficient in using RF scanning technology. Strong organizational
and time management skills. Capable of physical stamina required
for lifting heavy items up to 60 lbs. Medical Insurance Dental
