Job Description Job Description Description: This position will
perform manual and clerical shipping duties as required to receive
and distribute materials/parts and industrial equipment. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES Shipping of industrial equipment, parts and materials using
a forklift/crane as required. Handling of heavy lumber in the
construction of crates used for proper shipping specifications.
Proper use of paperwork provided (Bills of materials, Sales Orders
and Packing Lists) to ensure that you are shipping what is
specified on the sales order. Order and maintain supplies needed
for shipments. Help to keep work area clean and organized. Complete
all assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain a
"Customer Friendly" and professional attitude when dealing with
customers internal and external. Participates in year end inventory
project. Must be available, as needed, to work additional hours.
Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: MINIMUM POSITION
QUALIFICATIONS Experience in a previous shipping position and use
of UPS/FedEx online shipping. Needs to be able to lift 80lbs.
Ability to maneuver a forklift properly and safely. Education: High
School Diploma Experience:1-2 years experience in similar position
desirable. Certifications/Licenses: None KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, &
ABILITIES Excellent physical condition due to consistent bending,
moving and heavy lifting. Candidate must be able to work
effectively on your own and as a team player. Familiar with basic
shipping procedures involving proper documentation and processing
of all products/parts shipped. Ability to plan & organize, maintain
records, meet schedules and timelines, safety practices and related
software applications. Forklift/Crane operation allowing for the
safe placement and removal of all Wittmann related
equipment/parts.
