Job Description:

As a leading figure in environmental and industrial safety, Clean Harbors seeks a dedicated CDL Driver - Class B to join our transportation team. This role is pivotal in safely and efficiently transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste across various service locations while complying with all the governmental and corporate regulations. Your role is essential in helping us uphold our commitment to environmental sustainability and safety. Operate Class B vehicles in compliance with company rules and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and materials. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicles, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues. Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning and timely service fulfillment. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with customers regarding on-site services and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Participate in periodic safety meetings and training sessions. Strong driving skills and familiarity with the operation of Class B vehicles Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for the transportation of hazardous materials Ability to use electronic logging devices (ELD) and other professional driving tools Effective communication and customer service skills Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy materials Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL Class B license Hazmat Endorsement is highly preferred Clean driving record DOT medical certification
